ROLE: Extrusion Team Leader

SALARY:  £18.19phr

SHIFTS: Day Shift, 0600 - 1800, 4 on, 4 off

CONTRACT: Permanent Role

LOCATION: On-Site, Birchwood site, Somercotes, Alfreton

We are currently looking for an experienced Extrusion Team Leader for our Clover Nook site, Somercotes to support production management and Shift Managers to highlight and implement improvement plan.

WHAT OUR EXTRUSION TEAM LEADERS DO:

• Support production management to implement and execute business improvement plan
• Support Shift Mangers and the wider team to deliver shift performance targets
• Responsible for highlighting and implementing performance improvements
• Help develop a motivated team
• Ensure key safety activities (risk assessments, safe working practice etc) are carried out
• Actively seek out and address Health Safety & Environmental issues
• Ensure production targets are achieved
• Captured and log shift performance data
• Ensure all finished and semi-finished goods are in accordance with the works order and quality guidelines
• Monitoring equipment condition and performance
• Attend daily production review meetings

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR  EXTRUSION TEAM LEADERS:

• Experience of managing large teams within a Production, Manufacturing, or Extrusion facility
• Experience of developing and coaching successful teams
• Knowledge of delivering Process Improvements
• Recent experience of a fast-paced environment, working under pressure
• A customer orientated attitude in line with company policies
• Excellent communication at all levels
